Abstract
The study aimed to identify the relationship between social intelligence and time management and job performance, and to reveal the differences in the level of social intelligence, time management and job performance among government school librarians in the southern governorates of Palestine, according to the variables (gender, educational qualification, and years of experience). The study sample consisted of one hundred and sixty (160) librarians and librarians. The researcher used the social intelligence scale, time management prepared by it, and the job performance scale prepared by (Jalal Al-Din, 2009), and the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The study reached the following most important results : •That the total degree of social intelligence got a relative weight (86.76%) at a high level, while the total degree of time management got a relative weight of (88.41%) at a high level, and the total degree of job performance got a degree (85.55%) at a high level. •There is a positive correlation between social intelligence and job performance among government school librarians in the southern governorates of Palestine. •There is a positive correlation between time management and job performance among government school librarians in the southern. • There are no statistically significant differences between the average degrees of social intelligence due to the variables (educational qualification, years of experience), while there are differences due to the variable (sex) in favor of males. • There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of time management due to the variables (gender, educational qualification, and years of experience).
