The study aimed to identify the level of organizational silence among workers in the administrative departments in Palestinian universities, and their level of professional compatibility, and to detect whether there is a correlation between the level of organizational silence and their level of professional compatibility, and to determine the effect of organizational silence on professional compatibility, and to detect whether there are differences Statistically significant at the significance level (α ≥ 0.05) between the averages of the sample estimates for the level of organizational silence and the level of professional compatibility among workers due to the variables: (gender, age group, academic qualification, years of experience, the institution to which he belongs), and the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and used The researcher is a questionnaire tool for data collection. The study population consisted of all employees in the administrative departments of Palestinian universities (Islamic University, Al-Azhar University, and Al-Aqsa University), and their number was )1036( male and female employees. The researcher used the stratified non-proportional random sampling method, where he distributed the two questionnaires to a sample of 280 employees and received responses from a sample of 220 male and female employees. Results of the study: The study reached the most important results: 1. The arithmetic mean of the estimates of the study sample of workers in the administrative departments of Palestinian universities for the level of organizational silence they have was (2.68), and a relative weight of 53.6%, that is, to an average degree. Their occupational compatibility level is 3.69, and their relative weight is 73.8%; that’s to a high degree. 2. There was a (weak inverse) correlation with statistical significance between the level of organizational silence and the level of professional compatibility with them, where the value of the total Pearson correlation coefficient between the two variables was 0.150. 3. There is a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05) for organizational silence and professional adjustment, and the amount of this effect was (22%) of the change in professional adjustment due to the independent variables (silence of submission, positive social silence), while (silence of opportunity, and defensive silence) Its effect was weak. Study recommendations: The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: 1.
