Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an Integrated Counseling Program in Developing resilience among Secondary Stage Students in the southern governorates of Palestine. The study sample consisted of (30) students who were chosen from the 11th grade of Dalal EL moghrabi (b)secondary school for girls in east Gaza, and randomly divided into experimental and control groups 1. The first experimental group composed of (15) students . 2. The second is the control group composed of (15) students. The researcher used the resilience scale, which was prepared by: researcher, and an Integrated Counseling Program whom the researcher has prepared also. The study concluded the following: 1. There are statistically significant differences between the grade averages of the control and experimental groups in the posttest measurement on the resilience scale, counted for the experimental group. 2. There are statistically differences between the averages of the grades of the experimental group in the pre- and post-measurements on the resilience scale after the application of the counseling program in favour of the post measurement. 3. There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the grades of the experimental group in the post and iterate measurements on the resilience scale, also as well as, obvious impact on the program's effectiveness upon the experimental group.
