Abstract

The study aims to verify the existence of the psychological security for primary school principals in the southern governorates of Palestine and its impact on their administrative creativity. The study adopted descriptive causal method. The study sample consisted of 161-UNRWA school primary principals of both genders in the southern governorates of Palestine. The sample represents about 58% of the study . Questionnaire was the data collection method. And the important Study Results are the following: 1- Estimation the study sample to the degree of the psychological security availability for the primary school principals in the southern governorates of Palestine got a relative weight of (84.80%), i.e a high score. 2- There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of the study sample’s estimate of the degree of the psychological security as a whole and its functional dimension among the primary school principals when it comes to variables of gender and years of service, in favor of males and in favor of those whose years of service are more than 10 years. However, there were no differences attributable to the variable of scientific qualification. 5-The study sample’s estimate of the level of administrative creativity among the primary school principals in the southern governorates of Palestine got a relative weight of (85.98%), which is a very high degree. 6-There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of the study sample’s estimation of the level of administrative creativity among the primary school principals due to the two variables: (gender, educational qualification), while there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). ) between the averages of the study sample whose years of service are less than 10 years and those who have served more than 10 years; The level of administrative creativity among the primary school principals, and the differences were in favor of those whose years of service were more than 10 years, except for the dimensions of sensitivity to problems and risk, and there were no differences according to the variable years of service. 8-There is a statistically significant effect of the availability of psychological security dimensions (the psychological dimension, the social dimension, the functional dimension) of the primary school principals in the southern governorates of Palestine on their administrative creativity. The Study Recommendations: 1- To issue more labor laws which contribute the job security and the social security for the employees in the education filed. 2-To display successful management models to acquire the creative leadership methods which support the school principals' orientation to make changes in the work methods from time to time
