Abstract
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين التسويف الأكاديمي لدى طلبة جامعة الاستقلال، والرضا عن الدراسة لديهم. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (230) طالباً وطالبة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة. استخدمت الباحثة مقياس أبو غزال (2012) لقياس التسويف الأكاديمي والمكون من (21) فقرة، ومقياس الرضا عن الدراسة من إعداد الباحثة والمكون من (24) فقرة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة التسويف والرضا عن الدراسة لدى طلبة جامعة الاستقلال كانت متوسطة. وأشارت النتائج أيضاً إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات التسويف الأكاديمي لدى طلبة جامعة الاستقلال تبعاً لمتغيري الجنس والسنة الدراسية. في حين كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعاً لمتغير المعدل التراكمي لصالح الطلبة الذين تتراوح معدلاتهم (65–74.9). كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الرضا عن الدراسة لدى الطلبة تبعاً لمتغيرات (الجنس، والسنة الدراسية، والمعدل التراكمي). فيما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة سلبية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات التسويف الأكاديمي وبين الرضا عن الدراسة الجامعية لدى طلبة جامعة الاستقلال. وقد أوصت الباحثة بضرورة اهتمام المسؤولين بالبحث عن الأسباب التي تدفع الطلبة للتسويف، وإجراء المزيد من البحوث التي تبحث في أسباب التسويف والمشكلات التي تواجه الطلبة. Abstract : Academic Procrastination and Its Relationship with Satisfaction with University Studying among Al-Istiqlal University Students in Jericho City. The current study aimed to reveal the relationship between academic procrastination among Al-Istiqlal University students and satisfaction with studying by them. The sample of the study consisted of (230) male and female students who were chosen by the simple random method. The researcher used Abu-Ghazaleh Measure to measure academic procrastination which consists of (21) items and the measure of satisfaction with studying which consists of (24) items. The results of the study revealed that the degree of procrastination and satisfaction with studying among Al-Istiqlal University students was medium. The results also pointed out that there were no statistically significant differences in the mediums of the academic procrastination among Al-Istiqlal University students according to the variables of gender and academic year. However, there were statistically significant differences according to the variable of the cumulative average for the benefit of the students whose averages were (65-74.9). The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in satisfaction with studying among the students according to the variables of gender, academic year and cumulative average. The results also revealed that there is a negative relationship which is statistically significant between the mediums of academic procrastination and statisfaction with university studying among Al-Istiqlal University students.The researcher recommended that it is necessary that those who are responsible should take interest in searching for the causes which motivate students to procrastinate and to conduct more research which investigates the reasons for procrastination and the problems which face the students.
