Abstract

amputation site and educational level. The study sample consisted of (152) limbs amputees. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher translated and adapted a scale of fear of compassion prepared by Gilbert, Masyon, Matus, and Reeves (2011). The results of the study showed that the level of fear of compassion is high. The results showed that there were no differences in fear of compassion depending on the variable of social status, age, amputation site and educational level.
