Abstract

The study aimed at determining the degree of practicing active learning strategies from the point of view of teachers and supervisors. To achieve this, a questionnaire was used consisting of 11 strategies. The researcher used the comprehensive inventory method. The sample consisted of 450 teachers and 24 supervisors. The researcher used means, percentage, one way anova and "T" test, to analyze the sample responses. The results revealed that the most common strategies used by teachers from their point of view are the discussion strategy and narrative. The least used strategy is the strategy of the six hats and the TANAL AL-QAMAR, And the supervisors' point of view shows that the most common strategies used by teachers are narrative strategy, the least strategy is TANAL AL-QAMAR and numbered heads, and revealed that there were no fundamental differences between the views of teachers and supervisors on the level of use of active learning strategies by Arabic teachers, and there were no significant differences between the average of teachers 'estimates of the level of teachers' use of active learning strategies due to gender, there were statistically significant differences between the average teachers 'estimates of the level of teachers' use of active learning strategies due to experience for those who had more than 10 years' experience . Finally, there were statistically significant differences between the average teachers 'estimates of the level of teachers' use of active learning strategies due to training courses for (1-3) and more than (3) compared to those who did not receive any course. The study recommended that , the necessity of re-planning from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to ensure active education within its plan to take into account the topics and the possibility of implementation by active learning, and to hold training courses for Arabic teachers in the basic stage on the use of active learning strategies while teaching by educational supervisors
