Abstract
The study aimed to identify the most common leadership traits among the Islamic bloc leaders in the Palestinian universities in Gaza Governorates, as well as to identify the dialogue skill level among the Islamic bloc leaders, the relationship between the leadership traits and skill of dialogue, and the relative contribution of leadership traits in predicting the dialogue skill. Besides , the study aimed to identify the differences in leadership traits and dialogue skill due to gender. The researchers used the descriptive and analytical approach. The study sample consisted of (120) male and female students of whom the males were (89), while the number of females was (31). The participants were selected from the study population totaling (400) in the academic year 2017-2018. Data were collected and statistically analyzed using means, percentages, rank order, standard deviation, correlation coefficients, and test T-Test to measure the significance of differences between two groups. The study reached the following findings: the highest leadership trait is "cooperation" ,followed by "communication with others ", followed by "problem solving,". The percentage of dialogue skills was (83%), and there was a statistically significant direct positive correlation between the leadership traits and dialogue skill among the Islamic bloc leaders. It was possible to predict the dialogue skill reasonably through the scores of leadership traits . However, there were no statistically significant differences in all of the leadership traits and skills of dialogue due to sex.
