Abstract
Manufacturing of swords was very common in the period of mamluks state because they were the main weapon in conflicts and wars . Thus , sultans of mamluks were interested in industrializing them and highlighting the quality . This study will tackle the following : the most important center for swords industry in mamluks era , parts of swords , types , industry of swords , Damascus swords and qualities of Islamic swords in mamluks period .
