Abstract

This study aimed to identify the sources of psychological burnout and its relationship with the social support among drivers in gaza governorates on 2013. The sample of the study consisted of 245 public drivers. The researcher used the scale of the psychological burnout sources and another scale for the social support which were prepared by the researcher. Persentyge,T- test , person correlation Factor and on-way anova analyze were used as statistical methods . The results for study showed that the relative weight as the flowing : 91% and the relative weights for the fields were respectively 95.2 for the government, 95.1 for the municipality, 94. for the colleagues, 89% for the volume of work, 88% for the passengers and 86% for the nature of the work. Also, The results showed that there is a high level of the burnout resources among the sample of the study, were as it showed that there was a low level for the social support. Also, the results showed that drivers who have experience of 16 years and over were more burning than drivers of 5 years experience or less. Moreover the drivers with bachelor's degree were more burning than drivers with a high school diploma and drivers with a high school diploma were more burning than drivers with junior high or less. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the scale of sources burnout according to the variable housing Also, the results found that there was no relationship between the total degree of burnout sources and the social support .The researcher recommended the importance of introducing services by the government to help drivers in facing stress .
