Abstract

This study aimed to identify “The Role of Digital Media in Building Political Awareness for Media Students at “Dhi Qar University – in Iraq “ “, and to achieve the goal of the study a questionnaire was developed, and its validity and reliability were confirmed. The study community is represented by all media specialization students at Dhi Qar University, and 176 questionnaires were distributed, and the study sample was represented by all of them, but (4) a questionnaire was excluded because it was not suitable for statistical analysis tests, thus the number of questionnaires that can be performed for statistical analysis operations (This data was analyzed using the SPSS program to reach the goals and objectives of this study. After analyzing the tool, the study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which was that the level of media students in Dhi Qar University in Iraq on the applications of the new digital media To obtain information Political data was average, as well as the study found that there were no differences with respect to the two variables (gender, academic achievement), this study recommended the need to increase research related to the subject of study, as I said it shows, especially in Arabic.
