Abstract

This study sought to know the degree of public satisfaction with the media discourse of the Public Institution for Social Security in disseminating insurance awareness, and within its theoretical framework social responsibility theory was used, the study relied on the survey method; and the Spanish was used as a study tool to collect information from a sample of the public corporation of the social group, which reached 385 individuals, by means of the systematic random sample available. The study found that the degree of satisfaction by the public of media discourse of the Social Security Corporation in spreading insurance awareness was medium, with an average of (1.92), and the degree of public follow-up to the media outlets of the institution was low, and that achieving objectivity and credibility in the media discourse came with a medium degree. The study also showed the presence of statistically significant differences in the areas of accuracy and inclusiveness in favor of males, and in the degree of public satisfaction with the speech to the institution, statistical differences in favor of males for the age group of (46-60) came for holders of a master’s degree, for the retired recipient of the service recipient. Through the results reached by the researcher, he summarized his most prominent recommendations to the community concerned with the subject of the study by the necessity of taking into account the study results and taking them into consideration and focusing on the positives and working on processing the notes and negatives.
