Abstract

This study aimed to identify the gratifications achieved in the exposure of Iraqi university students abroad to the Iraqi electronic journalism and its impact on them. "Iraqi Masters students in Jordan as a model. To achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire was developed, and its sincerity and reliability were confirmed. The study community is represented by all Iraqi masters students in Jordan, whether they are in public universities or private universities, and the number is (639) male and female students. This is the number of questionnaires that can be performed for statistical analysis processes (197), and this data was analyzed using the SPSS program; In order to reach the goals and objectives of this study, and after analyzing the tool, the study reached a set of results, most notably that the achieved gratifications for the exposure of Iraqi university students abroad to the Iraqi electronic press as a whole and represented in the seven fields (gratifications achieved in the political side, gratifications achieved in the economic side, gratifications Achieved on the social side, gratifications achieved on the cultural and scientific side, gratifications achieved on the mathematical side, gratifications achieved on the emotional side, gratifications achieved on the behavioral side) was elevated, and there was no Galleries are statistically significant differences with respect to variables (age, nature of specialization, and variable university). The study also showed that there are many newspapers that are followed by the researched group, which are: (All Iraq newspaper, Youth Iraq newspaper, Iraq electronic newspaper, the eighth day online newspaper, the other online newspaper, Voice of Iraq electronic newspaper, Iraqi online news newspaper, and the Nahrain online newspaper , And the Iraq Youth Online newspaper).
