Abstract

The study aimed mainly to demonstrate the ability of Almamlaka TV to address national issues, and to clarify the contents of documentary and investigative program according to the direction of coverage, sources of coverage, according to the category of actors, according to the category of interest and objectivity, and according to the categories of gossip (how was said), and according to the categories of media framework The study relied on the use of the descriptive analytical method, and the content analysis method (survey method) was used for the contents of documentary and investigative program, and the study population consisted of all documentary program and investigative program under investigation that were presented through the period of 12-12 in the Kingdom Channel during the year 2018, which numbered (22), which was fully analyzed as a result of the age of the channel, and a content analysis form was designed for documentaries and investigative program that were shown on the Almamlaka TV to analyze the contents of these program The most important results that the study came out with as the study showed that the issue of public health has taken great importance from the topics covered by investigative program, and that documentary program that were presented by the Almamlaka TV during the study period focused on political issues that concern the local issue, and the study showed that investigative program and program Documentary has relied on more than one source for preparing its program, and the study showed that most of the survey program were presented in the category of negative direction, and the study showed that opinion polls are the most used categories of press patterns in the contents of documentary program and investigative program In the study, the Kingdom showed that the Almamlaka TV relied on the rational method in presenting documentary and investigative program, while the second place came mixed mixed and finally emotional grooming and emotional, and in the light of the results of the study it recommends the following: the need to continue in its approach and national role in the transmission of events of concern to the country and the citizen Which increases the base of its viewers, by adopting credibility and objectivity in the transmission of news and events of interest to the country and citizens.
