Abstract

This study aimed at recognizing the level of the Knowledge Management Operations (independent variable) in the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network – Health Sector, the level of Strategic Orientation (mediating variable), and measure the level of Organizational Ambidexterity (dependent variable). The study further aimed at determining the role played by the Strategic Orientation as a mediator in the relationship between Knowledge Management Operations and Organizational Ambidexterity . In order to achieve the research objectives, the descriptive analytical method was used.The research sample consisted of (235)supervisory and professional positions of the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network–Health Sector representing a scan of the population where the response rate was (91.1%) The Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software was used for data analysis. Findings of the study showed that the level of knowledge management operations was (77.7%) with a high agreement where; knowledge storage dimension came first forming (78.9%), while the knowledge application dimension was the last reporting (75.2%). It was found that the level of organizational ambidexterity was of a relative weight (81%) with a large degree of approval as well as the strategic orientation that has a rate of (81.9%). Moreover, there was a statistical significant effect of knowledge management operations on organizational ambidexterity and on strategic orientation. The strategic orientation was partially mediating the relationship between knowledge management operations and the organizational ambidexterity. The study recommended that the NGO network should adopt knowledge management operations because of their essential and vital role in enhancing both organizational ambidexterity and strategic orientation. The study also emphasized that the strategic orientation can play a pivotal role in achieving organizational ambidexterity, and it can be an important approach that is strengthened through attention to knowledge management practices specifically in the health sector.
