Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the impact of using the Balanced Scorecard on Profitability at Housing Bank for Trade and Finance 2004 – 2014. The study population and its sample consisted of Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, depending on financial statements published from 2004 to 2014 to assess the profitability of the bank using the Balanced Scorecard. The study was reached a number of results: that there is a significant impact of financial perspective (Net Profit) on Housing Bank for Trade and Finance Profitability at level (  0.05), that there is a significant impact of financial perspective (Net Profit) on Housing Bank for Trade and Finance return on equity rate at level (  0.05) and that there is a significant impact of financial perspective (Net Profit) on Housing Bank for Trade and Finance return on assets rate at level (  0.05).The study recommended the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance need to focus on non-financial performance measures as a positive impact on the sustainability and stability of the Bank performance in addition to financial measures. Also the housing bank for trade and finance concerns about other aspects such as ; customers service , operations , continuous learning and growth & not only the financial aspect since all aspects have direct and strong effect on the banks performance also if exploited properly . Key words: Balanced Scorecard ,Profitability Housing Bank For Trade And Finance.
