Abstract
This study aimed to identify the extent of quality control on costs reduction, clarify the importance of quality control system in order to improve the company’s performance, furthermore its potential to obtain competitive position for the company among other companies, this could happened only through obtaining effective and clear quality control system. The population of the study consisted from five related categories which are (sales, quality, production, financial managers and administrative accountants) in (13) Food Industries companies. The researcher distributed (60) questionnaires randomly for study sample. Also, he used the interview method to collect information from the administrative in Nabil’s Food Industries Company. The results of statistical analysis show that all fields of the questionnaire ( suitability of product, availability, quality control cost, preventive (protective) costs, performance costs on moderate level, and deficient costs) all have high degree. Furthermore, the results show there is a significant effect for applying Quality control on cost reduction on food companies in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study recommends to improve using the cost target and analyzing the value because of its effect in improving quality and decreasing product cost.
