Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the impact of financial leasing on the financial performance in the Islamic Jordanian banks, the study relied on financial statements to three Islamic banks. The study used the descriptive analytical method in order to achieve the objectives of the study, has been independently calculate earnings per share and return on asset, return on equity, and return on investment, and used descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean and standard deviation) and analysis of simple regression. The study found a set of results including: 1. There is impact of finance leasing on earnings per share in the sample of the study. 2. There is no impact of finance leasing on return on asset in the sample of the study. The study came out a set of recommendations including: 1. Focus on activation finance leasing in better way in Islamic banks in Jordan. 2. Need to educate the administrators in Islamic Jordanian banking sector for importance of leasing and the benefits from its use. Key Words: Financial Leasing, Islamic Bank, Financial Performance
