Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of stress and pressure of work on employees in the Jordanian's hotel sector, and the impact of these stress on their performance, and to identify the sources of these pressures, and try to develop scientific solutions possible, and also make recommendations that contribute to the alleviation of these pressures. The research population were five-star category hotels in Jordan, given the large size of the population, which consists of (23) hotel, the study selected (12) hotel located in the middle of Jordan, the capital Amman to be the sample of that community. And for the purposes of data collection for this study, the distribution of (240) sample identifying the participant of the study, forming approximately (10%) of the study population ,and recovery of(197) sample were delivered back and suitable for statistical analysis, data were processed using descriptive statistics and statistical software package for Social Sciences (SPSS) computer. The study ends up with the following results: 1. the absence of a relationship with statistical significance at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the independent variables of workload and organizational structure on the one hand and the performance of workers in those hotels on the other. And therefore are to accept the first and third hypothesis of nihilism. س 2. That there is a relationship with statistical significance at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the two independent variables salaries, bonuses and work environment on the one hand and the dependent variable is performance on the other. Tantamount to a rejection of the hypothesis that the second and fourth nihilism and accept the alternative hypothesis for each variable. � Taking all these results into consideration, it has been a number of recommendations including the following: 1. it must provide a work environment to ensure the satisfaction of employee, which in turn will result in a better environment for dealing with customers in those hotels. 2. the study recommends meetings once in the morning between subordinates and heads, which promote a positive work environment and the role of raising the level of performance. 3. Clarify the description of each job separately and explained to the workers precisely, due to the overlap and correlation functions in hotels in order to perform better in the service of the inmates are usually in hotels.
