Abstract

The present study aimed to knowing the extent of Kuwaiti Oil Corporation possession of suitable mechanism and methods for its financial performance that make it able for the duties. Also, the study aimed to explore the obstacles that prevents the possession of those mechanisms. This was done by studying the standards of the good financial performance and exploring the extent of their availability at the institution according to the point of view of accounting managers and accountants in the institution. To achieve those objective, the researcher dealt with two types of data; primary and secondary, which were collected via the field study and a questionnaire. The study came up with the following findings 1- That there is a relationship between the qualifications and the technical experiences of the financial and accounting staff working in the Kuwaiti Oil Institution possesses and the financial performance. 2- That there is a relationship between the changes of the criteria of performance and the financial performance of the Kuwaiti Oil Institution. 3- That there is a relationship between technological advancement and renewing and the financial performance of the Kuwaiti Oil Institution. م 4-That there is a clear and adopted organizational framework that specifies the authorities of the financial and accounting staff working in the Kuwaiti Oil Institution and the financial performance. 5- That there is a relationship between the financial regulations and the financial performance of the Kuwaiti Oil Institution. The study also came up with a number of recommendations That the Kuwaiti Oil Institution adopts the complementarily and integration between the financial and non-financial indicators. And, that it revises the competitive ability of the institution. That to reconsider the financial system applied in that the Kuwaiti Oil Institution.
