Abstract

The study aimeds to identify the impact of staffing strategies by their dimensions (recruitment, selection, placement) on the quality of work life in Jordanian insurance companies, where the study population consists of (24) companies operating in the capital city, Amman, the number of workers in these companies is (2884) workers of both genders, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the researcher relied on two main sources to collect study data from primary and secondary sources, where the questionnaire was developed by it and distributed to the members of the sample which consisting of (300) workers of both genders, the hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis and simple linear regression analysis, the study found that there is statistically significant impact of staffing strategies by their dimensions (recruitment, selection, placement) on quality of work life in Jordanian insurance companies. Based on these findings of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, most prominent of them, is that the management of Jordanian insurance companies should building and implementing good strategies and plans for staffing that are characterized by integrity and fairness, and the study recommends the management Jordanian insurance companies to increase interest in the level of stability and job security by adopting the best programs to improve the quality of work life, and the study includes only three staffing strategies, Where it is recommends to study the impact of the rest of the strategies on quality of work life on the study community and other communities.
