Abstract

The aim of this study is showing the role of practicing work teams management way. That's to improve the performance level and taking management decisions in civil side in the ministry of interior in Gaza strip. The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach because it is appropriate to the object. To achieve Study's aims there is a questionnaire involved (51) inserts which was designed on four axis to collect data from the sample. The questionnaire has distributed to the study community and they are (220) employees. Who are supervisory titles owners from chief of division to general manager. The researcher uses general omission method. Returned questionnaires numbers were 179 which means 81.36%. The outcome data were analyzed by using the statistical programme (SPSS). The study achieved the following results: - Taking care of work teams management from upper conduction reached to(58.68%) level. - In the ministry, applicating this way has increased to be (64.47%). - Official performance level is (69.63%) and the process of taking managements decisions reached (60.22%). - There is astatistic connection between work teams managements method, improving the official performance level and taking managerial decisions in the ministry. They reached to level (α≥0.05). - No statistic differences in level (α≥0.05) of searched person compliances that showing work teams management role of improving performance level and taking managements decisions. That result returned to sex, scientific qualification, experience years, official name and professional staff. Above results lead to the following recommendations: - Increasing the care of upper management in work teams management way in the ministry. - Practising that way in all ministry's fields and making workshops to show the importance of work teams. - Reaching to high level of performance by benifiting with result of valuating annual performance, showing official description and balance between punishments and rewards. - Following elements of taking decisions' showing the problem, collecting the data, choosing suitable alternative, following up decisions and finally correcting mistakes.
