Abstract
Study Title : The role of the Leadership Styles in promoting social responsibility in the Directorates of Education in Gaza Governorates. This study aimed to: Determine the availability of Leadership Styles in the directorates of Education in Gaza Governorates. Disclose the level of social responsibility among Directorates of education in Gaza Governorates. Identify the relationship of Leadership Styles with social responsibility in the Directorates of Education in Gaza Governorates . Come up with applicable recommendations that could be used in the Directorates of Education in Gaza Governorates. This study aims to identify the role of the administrative leaders in enhancing the social responsibilities in Gaza strip's educational sectors.The researcher depended on the descriptive analysis method for answering , analyzing and describing the study results. Data collection depended on the questionnaire, which was designed especially for the study. The study society Was 673 employees from which a stratified random sample was chosen with total number of 263 administrative employees. The study concluded to several results, the most important are: 1) The Democratic leader is still available on the Directorates of Education in Gaza regions of 73.22% .It won the first rank. The second rank was the autocratic leader with a percentage of 54.16%.The third rank was the Laissez-Faire leader with percentage of 54.03 %. 2) The study results showed that the level of social responsibility in the Directorates of Education of Gaza Governorates was 79.31%. 3) There is a statistically significant relationship between the pattern of Democratic leader and social responsibility. 4) There were no significant statistical relationship between the patterns of the autocratic and the Laissez-Faire leaders and social responsibility. The study recommendations : ص 1) There is a need to take the suitable measures inside the Directorates of Education in Gaza regions so as to enhance the role of Democratic leader and to decrease the roles of both the autocratic and the Laissez-Faire leaders because they have no relationship between them and no impact on strengthening the social responsibility as well. 2) There is a necessity to take the suitable measures to enhance the social responsibility in the Directorates of Education and in which its availability with a percentage of 79.51% is regarded as good, but it needs practical procedures to be improved. 3) Enhancing the participation of the Directorates of Education in festivals that honor the top students and to encourage the employees to pursue their higher education in order for the Directorates to improve their social services that they provide for the local community.
