Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the business processes reengineering and their relationship with quality health services at Shifa Hospital. Descriptive Analytical design was used in the study, the population of the study is (194) of health care provider from Shifa Hospital, complete enumeration method was used, and the study sample is (184), as (94.85%) of the study population, Self papers structure questionnaire was used into study, then faced from face and contend validity, smale scale variability test was used of the questionnaire. The study concluded with the following results: - Reality of the business processes re-engineering at Shifa Hospital came to a relative weight (69.43%(. - Quality health services at Shifa hospital came with relative weight (65.90%). - There is no significant differences between the averages of the respondents about the reality of the business processes re-engineering at Shifa hospital were attributable to variables: (job title, age, experience period, sex), while differences due to a variable degree, diploma and below. - There is no significant differences between the averages of the respondents about the quality of health services at Shifa hospital were attributable to variables: (age, education, job title, years of service, sex). - There is a relationship between the averages of the respondents about the reality of the business processes re-engineering, and between the averages of the respondents about the quality of health services at Shifa hospital. - There are a range of obstacles facing business processes re-engineering applied at Shifa hospital, including not adopting the hospital administrative operations objectives clearly and understandable. The study made several recommendations, such as: - Shifa hospital Adoption of clear management objectives and understandable. - Use of information technology in the Quality monitoring and assurance process at Shifa hospital. - Meeting the expectations of the patient at Shifa hospital. - Recrutling specialized medical cadres with experiences, skills and qualifications.
