Abstract

This study aims to investigate the subject of digital currencies and identify if there is a correlation between digital currencies and electronic commerce, determine if there is a correlation between digital portfolios and electronic commerce, as well as finding out if there are difficulties in the application of digital currency in the United Arab Emirates. In order to access the objectives of this study, a descriptive analytical method was adopted. A questionnaire was designed as a study tool. This questionnaire was distributed to the sample of this study which consisted of individuals and companies working in digital currencies in the United Arab Emirates. In order to test the hypotheses, this study used simple linear regression analysis and sample tests. The findings indicated that there is a statistically significant correlation between digital currencies and electronic commerce, in addition to a statistically significant correlation between digital portfolios and electronic commerce in the United Arab Emirates. The findings also indicated that there are no statistical difficulties impeding the application of digital currencies in the United Arab Emirates. The researcher recommended developing the use of electronic commerce in the United Arab Emirates by trying to increase the spread of digital currencies with a focus on ل avoiding their risks by educating its users in currencies that can be traded with the least risks in addition to not investing in unknown currencies with high risks, and encouraging the concerned authorities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to try to apply digital currency trading.
