Abstract

The study aimed at revealing the impact of the application of e-governance in Jordanian private universities on the excellence of university performance. The study was applied to seven private universities in Amman (Middle East ، Isra ، Petra ، Princess Sumaya ، Alzaytoonah ، Applied Science Private University ، Amman Arab) ، the study population was composed of the members of the teaching and administrative bodies in the studied universities theirnumbers is (2864). The sample of the study was random stratified selected (385) questionnaires were distributed to the teaching and administrative staff. (341) questionnaires were retrieved and (12) were excluded their not validity for analysis. In order to answer the study questions and test hypotheses، the researcher used a number of descriptive statistical methods and the use of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) programs.The study reached a number of conclusions and recommendations، the most important of which are: The level of Attitudes towards the application of electronic governance in universities was high. The study also found a statistically significant impact on all attitudes of e – governance on the excellence of university performance.
