Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of Talent Management processes on Attaining Competitive Advantage in the Jordanian telecommunications companies: Orange and Umniah. In order to achieve the objective of this study, the data were collected through questionnaire filled out by (169) managers out of about (700) managers working at the targeted companies. The collected data were coded against Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS ver.21). The results of the current study shows that there is a high level of Talent Management in the Jordanian telecommunications companies, there is a high level of Competitive Advantage in the Jordanian telecommunications companies, the results also shows that Talent Management processes have an impact on Attaining Competitive Advantage of the Jordanian telecommunications Companies, Talent development has rated the highest, followed by talent discovery, then talent recruitment and finally talent retention. The current study recommends the companies to pay attention for talented employees and to invest in talent and intellectual capital which is one of the most important companies’ assets in this high competitive environment.
