Abstract

This study aims at identifying the intellectual capital management and its role at improving the social environment in the Gaza Strip. The study population of this study includes all the workers who work at the Palestinians ministries according to the following variables (work place in the ministry, gender, age, the years of service, the qualification, the marital status and the job title). The study used the descriptive analytical method which achieved the study objectives, the study population was all the workers who work in the Palestinian ministries in the Gaza Strip, the sample contains 420 of the workers in the Palestinian ministries in the Gaza strip. The questionnaire is used as a data collection tool which is designed by the researcher and presented on a group of specialists and academic members to check its goal of study where (380) or, (90.5) % of the questionnaires is recovered. The study used several statistical methods to answer the study questions and to check its hypothesis. The study found the following results:  There is medium approval on the intellectual capital in a percentage of 59.95% from the workers in the Palestinian ministries.  There is medium approval on the improvement of the social environment in a percentage of 62.42% from the workers in the Palestinian ministries.  There is a statistical relationship at a level (α≤0.05) between the intellectual capital management and the improvement of the social environment in the Gaza strip in percentage of 74.1%. The recommendations of the study:  The ministries rewarded the creators in the administrative work according to a specific and clear program.  The ministries put the right person in the right place according to his abilities.  The ministries develop the staff leadership skills according to the technological development.  The ministries benefit from the public observations and complaints to avoid the future problems.
