Abstract

This study tackles the democratic role in strengthening and inhancing the Palestinian national security in the period from 1994 to 2014 . it aims to identify the Palestinian democratic experiences and its weakness factors to reach the point to what extent could the ability of the democratic experiences and how it inhances the national and political cooperation , and recognising the internal and external threats on the Palestinian national security . The study problem is existed in absence of real democracy practice , it was shown after the second democratic experience in 2006 , as a result ,the Palestinian devision happened which led to a weakness in the political cooperation as well as a weakness in the Palestinian national security . The study gained its importance by the attempt of connecting democracy with the Palestinian national security , through shedding lights at the role of democracy in building the national cooperation , then inhancing the Palestinian national security . The study is devided into six main chapters , the first chapter deals with the general frame ti the study , as well as the comments on the study . the second chapter tackles the previous studies and comment on them , the third chapter explains the Palestinian national security in the era between ( 1994-2014 ) , the forth chapter deals with fact of palestinian democratic experience , the fifth chapter deals with the Palestinian democratic in the era between ( 1994-2014 ) , while the sixth chapter tackles the role of democracy in the Palestinian national security protection . This study used the anylatic descriptive approach as a major approach in addition to using the comparative approach as a helping approach by comparing the stages and stations in which democracy passed through in Palestine . The study reaches to a group of results , some of the important results showed that the Palestinian national security is affected by democracy and there are some internal and external threats which have affected democracy in Palestine , in which led to a weakness in the Palestinian national security . Also the study shows that the Palestinian political decision is one of the important basis which the Palestinian political system is suffering from as a result if abscance real practice to democracy , which is leading negatively on the Palestinian national security . The study recommends aset of points , necessisty of reclaiming Palestinian liberation organization , adapting anew national charter agreed on by all the Palestinian parties and organizations . Also making legislative and presidential elections , and forming national government participated by all parties and Palestinian movements , adapting a program for reclaiming the security and administration institutions , rearranging the Palestinian home , working on inhancing the Palestinian national security through out improving the Palestinian life standard and quality of life . offering the social aids and guarantee to reach its deservers and presenting basic educational ,health security services for achieving positive direct effects on the Palestinian people in their daily life .
