Abstract

The study aimed to examine the relationship between organization commitment and job performance among workers in the military medical services in Gaza Strip. The sample consist of all workers (195 participants) in military medical services who have two or more job performance and the response rate was 95%. The researcher used self-administered questionnaire for data collection and the currently in use job performance sheet in military medical services in Gaza Strip.. The result showed that there is high level of organization commitment among workers in the military medical services in Gaza Strip in all domains. Also there is high level of job performance among workers in the military medical services in Gaza Strip. In addition the result showed that there is a significant relationship between organization commitment and job performance among workers in the military medical services in Gaza Strip. The study recommended that, the directorate of military medical services administration in the Gaza Strip should focus and pay attention about the important of organizational commitment and it is impact on job performance. Also continue to strengthen the relations between workers in the military medical services and their leaders to enhance level of organizational commitment. In addition, there is a need for incentives and motivations for the workers in military medical services to enhance job performance.
