Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the police women role in modifying the criminal behavior of the female inmates in Rehabilitation and Reform Centers in Gaza governorates under the current circumstances in Gaza within the rare material and human resources. Whereas, the study identifies the work relationship between the police women and inmates in rehabilitation and reform centers. In order to know this, the researcher focuses on a sample of (34) inmates were given a questionnaire and having face to face interview . Moreover, the study followed the descriptive analytical method. The results of the study are: There is a clear and positive relation between the working police women and inmates in rehabilitation and reform centers. There are many interior and foreign institutions that standing side by side with the police women in solving the inmates problems. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ ظ Despite the bad situation in Gaza Strip , the inmates are given awareness and guidance lessons to modify their behavior. The study has recommendations, including: The rehabilitation Centers should increase the guidance and reform programmes to the female inmates. The community should accept the inmates after they get out the center and gives them safety . The rehabilitation and reform center must limit the judgment period to the inmates in the center.
