Abstract

This study aims at identifying the reality of applying the re-engineering of human resources and exploring its role in enhancing job performance in General Personnel Council , and to introduce recommendations that contribute in a better application of human resource re-engineering in General personnel council. Also, to contribute in increasing the level of employees job performance. The researcher applied the descriptive analytical approach through using a comprehensive survey of all the employees of population (90) working at General Personnel Council . The researcher designed a questionnaire to measure the variables of the study and then used the SPSS program for statistical analysis. The most important results of the study are as follows: • Re-engineering dimentions are available in General Personnel Council with a 58.65% ratio. • The level of employees' job-performance was at 64.93%. • There is a significant relationship between the level of employees' job performance and the availability of re-engineering dimentions in General Personnel Council. • There is a significant relation between the applying of re-engineering and job-performance . The most important recommendation of the study are:- • Senior management Should be convinced with the necessity of change and re-engineering process which automatically leads to convincing their employees. • Taking advantage of technological development in information systems, computer and modem telecommunicate in order to make a better use of it. • Developing the performance appraisal system of employees in General Personnel Council. • Connecting the performance appraisal with training process in order to determine the employee needs accurately, in order to develope their skills and increase their performance. • Making use of information technology in order to make a vital change in performance. • Management should going on focusing in continuous improvement of human resource performance. • Updating all the new in the world of technology and improving telecommunication in the way that go with General Personnel Council goals.
