Abstract

This study aims to recognize the role of youth leadership in the organizational development of the Palestinian youth organizations in Gaza strip. The study sample is formed of (132) youth leaderships, The searcher used the descriptive analytical method, also he used the questionnaire as a tool for study, and to analyze the data of study, statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) has been used. Main results: 1. The relative weight of the role of youth leaderships in the organizational development is 74.6% and this reflects a good positive role for the youth leaderships in development of systems of the organizations the work at, the relative weights vary between 67.6% and 78.7% which indicates that the role of youth leaderships in organizational development of Palestinian youth organizations comes so near to all elements of organizational development of the organization. 2. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05  ) in assessments of youth leaderships for their role in organizational development of their organizations refers to the difference in sex and geographical area. 3. There are statistically significant differences in the assessments of youth leaderships for their role in developing worker's abilities, development of work systems and forming legislations, rules and systems in their organization which refers to the difference in age, academic qualification and the years of service, Whereas, statistically significant didn't appear in some fields included in the study questionnaire. 4. The results showed that the Palestinian youths live a difficult situation in the educational, economical, health and social participation fields resulting from the deterioration of economical and political conditions, Whereas the results showed that Palestinian youths use the technological means (computer and telecommunications) well. The study recommended: 1. To publicize and promote the concept of organizational development among the youth leaderships and the necessity of youths leaderships leading skills development through ongoing and purposeful training and specialized courses in modern administrative systems. ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ { و } ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ 2. Care about geographical distribution when registering new youth organizations considering marginalized and border areas. 3. Equal promotion for the role of males and females in the leadership of youth organizations through definite percentage for both genders, and holding specialized training programmes for the youngest youth leaderships in the organizational development and the Work on strengthening and training of the youth leadership in the fields of (development of the Work systems and the formation of legislations, rules and systems). 4. Care about the reality of youths including the educational, economical and health fields, and promotion of their role in social participation through the affiliation to the national organizations and parties.
