Abstract
This study aims to identify the stereotypes of administrative leadership in the Palestinian sports federations, the performance of these federations, the nature of the relationship between administrative leadership's stereotypes in the Palestinian sports federations, The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and to achieve the objectives of the study, he made a questionnaire as a tool for the study. The questionnaire consists of two parts; the first one is related to the administrative stereotypes and includes 28 points distributed on 3 areas: The autocratic style, the democratic style, and the Laissez-faire style. The second part is related to performance and includes 35 points distributed on five areas (planning, organizational, guidance and control, development and training, and competitions and championships). The questionnaire was validated by applying it on an exploratory sample of 30 individuals, the researcher also used the SPSS programme to analyse the study data, and the study resulted the following: 1. The administrative leadership stereotype that is used the most in the Palestinian sports, the democratic style with a relative weight of 74.77%, the lassies faire style with a relative weight of 59.38%, the autocratic style with a relative weight of 48.93%. 2. The results show that the relative weight of performance is 67.97%, and the relative weights of performance axises are as follows: organization obtained the first place with a relative weight of 72.62%, followed by guidance and control with a relative weight of 71%, the administrative planning with a relative weight of 70.87%, then competitions and championships with a relative weight of 64.59%, and last, development and training with a relative weight of 61.93%. 3. _The results show that there's a positive statically significant relationship between the democratic and lasses faire styles that are used in the Palestinian sports federations and performance, and an inverse relationship between the autocratic style and performance. 4. _The results also show that there are no statically significant differences between the types of administrative leadership that are attributed to the personal variables (age, academic qualifications, and years of experience), but there are differences that are attributed to the type of federation, and it was in favor of athletics. Recommendations: In light of what the study resulted, the researcher recommends the following: 1. Strengthening the use of the democratic style in sports federations, for it has positive impact on performance and avoiding the autocratic style, for it has negative impact on performance. 2. Strengthening guidance and control skills of the employees and the adoption of scientific criteria to observe the sports federations' performance to guarantee its development. 3. Working on making continuous training courses for the sports federations' administration to qualify the them to choose the right administrative style. 4. Working on strengthening the internal activities, building the base, and developing the staff before thinking of the external activities
