Abstract

This study aims to reveal the transformational leadership role to achieve the strategic goals of the Palestinian people. Moreover, this study clears the importance of transformational leadership of the Palestinian leadership in Palestinian organizations, and determine the level of efficiency of the Palestinian leadership in the practice of transformational leadership . This study follows the researcher descriptive analytical method, the study sample consisted comprehensive survey of all first, second and third grade of leaders in the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip and the estimated (191) commander of 2014, (the administrative offices of the Palestinian organizations) , and the number of questioners recovered (161) questionnaire equivalent to (84.3%) of the study population . This study includes five chapters: the general framework of the study, transformational leadership, and transformational leadership related to the achievement of strategic objectives, the method and procedures, findings and recommendations . This study reaches the following conclusions: The inspirational motivations ranked first, the idealized attributes (Charisma) got second place, individualized consideration got third place, intellectual stimulation got fourth place, and the idealized behavior (Empowerment) got the fifth place . The strategic objectives short-term (organizational dimension) ranked first, med-term strategic objectives (the Palestinian national project) got second place, a long-term strategic objectives (the Liberation of Palestine) won the third place . There were there no significant statistical difference about the relationship of transformational leadership dimensions . And achieving the strategic goals of the Palestinian people due to personal variables, there are difference between (Hamas) and (Fatah) is to (Hamas) , and between (Hamas) and (Islamic Jihad) , is to (Hamas) and between (Hamas) and (Democratic front) is to (Hamas) , in the Palestinians strategic objectives .
