Abstract

This study aims at identifying the role of the Political and Moral Guidance Corporation in cohesion of the Palestinian internal front and the ways to strengthen it from the viewpoints of the Ministry of Interior Officers in Gaza Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The study sample is a random one consisted of (335) officers which represents (12.9%) of the total study population who are (2595) officers. The study tools consisted of questionnaire, personal interviews. The researcher, also used the statistical package (SPSS) in dealing with the study data. The study concluded the following results: • The percentage of officers’ degree appreciation for the corporation’s role in cohesion of the internal front reached (77.6%), and this is a large degree. • There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the average of appreciations for the corporation’s role in the cohesion of the internal front from the officers’ viewpoints due to some variables such as the qualification, the military rank and the institution. • There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the average appreciation for the corporation’s role in the cohesion of the internal front from the officers’ viewpoints due to the number of years of service. • This study mentioned some ways to strengthen the role of Political and Moral Guidance Corporation in cohesion the internal front according to the researcher's viewpoints. Recommendations • It is important to unite the Public Administration of Public Relations and Media in the Palestinian Ministry of Interior with the Political and Moral Guidance Corporation in the same ministry to be a single integrated administration. • It is important to prepare the political commissar enough to deal with the new rapid conditions. • It is important to develop specialized and deep programs to build the distinguished security man. • It is important to increase attention to the new security men especially who have lower qualifications. suggestions: • The most important suggestion of this study is to strengthen scientific research in all that would improve the corporation’s performance and to determine the work ص priorities in respect of the ministry employees and the local community especially the youths.
