Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the role of the administrative information technology in improving the performance of the school administration. (applied study on the program of the school administration (SMIS) in the Ministry of Education and High Education in Gaza Directorates). This study has followed the analytical and descriptive method. A questionnaire has been used to gather the data for researching tools. It was applied on a sample of (297) employees who were randomly selected from their original society. The study has come up to the following results: 1. The availability of the basic structure (software, hardware and the qualified human resources) for the school administration program in the Ministry of Education and High Education in Gaza Directorates, as it has got a relative weight of (%78,53) 2. The availability of the standards of the school administration success in the fields of (the quality of information given by the school administration program, the use of the program, the quality of the program and the user satisfaction) in improving the performance of the school administration in the Ministry of Education and High Education in Gaza Directorates, and the average of the relative weight was (%80.69) 3. The increasing effect of the use of the school administration program in improving statistically significant differences at the level of significance between the answers of respondents about the level of influence of Management Information Systems, and the relative weight was (%74.72). 4. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05(between the indicators of the measurement of the success of the school administration program ( the quality of information, the quality of the program , the use of the program and the user satisfaction) and the performance of the school administration in extrusive. In other words, the more the rates of these indicators are, the more are the satisfaction and confidence of the user of the program, which positively affects the performance of the school administration, as a result, the hypothesis is accepted 5. There aren’t statistically significant differences at the level of significance between the answers of respondents about the level of influence of Administration Information Systems and the performance of the school administration in the Ministry of Education and High Education in Gaza Directorates with the difference of (the social species, the academic qualification, the job title and the experience) 6. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05( between the answers of respondents about the level of influence of Administration Information Systems and the performance of the school administration in the Ministry of Education and High Education in Gaza Directorates with the difference of the directorate where the employee work and the differences between employees in the Eastern and Northern Gaza Directorates in favor of Eastern Gaza. The most important recommendations produced by the researcher: 1. The continuity of increasing the efficiency of the administrative information technology components (software, hardware and the qualified human resources) And developing them according to the technological updates. 2. It is recommended to care for the given technical support, and to keep on work. 3. Conducting more training courses for the employees working on the project, so that they can recognize the services and the responsibilities they need to improve the quality and efficiency of the school administration program. 4. Working on updating the data base continuously so that to fit on with the rapid technological changes and to suit the quality of data and information entered. 5. The necessity of making sequent evaluation to value the employees' satisfaction of the school administration program. 6. Working on activating the necessary reports in the school administration program in accordance with the employees and the school needs, as well as having various forms of reports which are represented by the program such as planners, schedules and diagrams so that they can be easier to comprehend and analyze
