Abstract

The study aims at identifying the conditions of administrating media for Hamas movement in Gaza Strip; in addition to recognizing applying fields of media administration at the media sections and associations. The Researcher used the analytical descriptive approach; and to reach study aims, questionnaire is applied to all of the interested society. Thus, the researcher used the method of comprehensive inventory; 190 questionnaires were the sample study , after excluding incorrect and lost questionnaires. Questionnaires and interviews were used as tools of study in relation to administrating media members and Media Directory. Stability and validity are achieved at the questionnaires. Moreover, questionnaires for interviews are designed to answer questions related to qualitative study. Study Results There are essential differences with statistically significance in the fifth fields of media administration for the variable type (members of media office, and the members of media associations), of Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, and all differences were all in favor of media associations members; this is clear in: Applying the organizational structure at the media office (52.7% -means fairly good), and the media associations ( 69.2%- means good). Applying planning at the media office (56.1%) and the media associations (71.52% - means good). The availability of information and communication systems are applied at the media office (54.1%), and the media associations are applied (69.2%).  The administration activeness is applied at the media office (62.1%), and the media associations (73.4%) Training and development are applied at the media office (41.9%- means weak), and the media associations (54.4%). Main Study Suggestions: Reorganizing the media 0ffice to keep pace with the technological development to let media associations have their role; and to distribute the jobs according to the types of media; as well as activating administration work (planning, organizing, guidance, control, follow-up). Forming an Executive Board focuses on young people following the head of the media office or any related members to manage the media activities such as technical and executive to conduct the events which required an administration and development. Bridging the gap among media administrations (organizational structure, planning, availability of information and communication system, activeness of administration, and training and development) the media office and media associations that showed excellency for media associations in all aspects Granting more authority for young people (20-35 years), and this would create new leaders.
