Abstract

The study aimed to identify the point of view of the political elite in the Gaza Strip against Al -Jazeera 's coverage of the Arab revolutions، and the role played by dealt with the events of revolutions، and their contribution to its success، support، and knowledge of the respondents proposals in this regard. The study adopted a descriptive approach، where it worked on the description and analysis of the role of Al-Jazeera in the Arab revolutions through covered it. And adopted the survey form "questionnaire" search tool، distributed on a sample of 100 people from the political elite، have been selected in a manner intentionally، along with the corresponding tool. The study is divided into six chapters، discusses the coverage of Al-Jazeera for Arab revolutions، where the channel is empty itself، Broadcast ، it staff and correspondents in various countries، to cover almost full، thick، depth and that the interpretation of the events from the perspective of politicians and analysis dimensions from all angles، not only at this point، but opened the channels allocated to follow events in the field. The study revealed the following findings: 1- Respondents believe that Al Jazeera played a very important role in the Arab revolutions have had an impact in the light of the continued and escalating momentum of events، and success، as they worked to establish the principle of freedom of expression and opinion during the coverage. 2- Respondents believe that Al Jazeera do the work based on political agendas excelled on the professional foundations during the coverage of the events of the Arab revolutions، especially during the coverage of the Arab revolutions، discovered through its dealings and its coverage of the revolution of Bahrain and this has made a professional and objective channel in doubt in front of many political analysts. The study recommended several recommendations: 1- Al-Jazeera management intends to establish its own satellite ، To ensure continuous coverage of the Arab revolutions، and the current events in the Arab region and international without interference. 2- Al Jazeera should be keen to move away from political agendas link، and do not take precedence on the foundations of professional media. 3- Benefit from the experience of Al-Jazeera media in their large coverage of the Arab revolutions.
