Abstract
This study aims to identify the reality of training programs of Creativity Institute and their impact on building the Palestinian leadership, based on its trainees’ opinion. The researcher used the analytical descriptive methodology. The population of the study consisted of (848) graduates of Leaders Preparation Programs who joined the Creativity Institute-Gaza in 2011, 2012, and 2013. The researcher selected a random sample of (227) graduates. The study findings showed that the reality of leadership training programs at Creativity Institute-Gaza from the points of views of the trainees was relative at 68.238% and that the impact of the training programs on building the Palestinian leadership based on the trainees’ onions was relative at 75.121%. The study showed that there are not any statistically significant differences in the reality of training programs of Creativity Institute according to the viewpoints of the trainees and this is attributable to the variables: age, place of residence, qualification, type of job, number of years of service, training program, and year of graduation. Moreover the study showed that there are not any statistically significant differences in the effect of training programs of the institution on building the Palestinian personality of leadership according to the viewpoints of the trainees and this attributable to variables: age, place of residence, qualification, type of job, number of years of service, training program, and year of graduation. On the other hand, the study showed that there are statistically significant differences in the effect of training programs of the institute on building the Palestinian personality of leadership due to the variable of ف qualification. Also, the study showed that there is a statistical significance between the reality of the training programs in the Institute and its impact on constructing Palestinian of leadership according to the viewpoints of trainees. The researcher recommended varying and renewing the methods of training, taking into account the nature of the trainees' jobs and the years of service in their work, and applying the training on the fields of the students of Leaders Preparation Program. In addition, the researcher recommended that Leaders Preparation Programs should be set according to pre-determined needs of the candidates and choosing trainers specialized in the leadership development programs offered by the Institute. Further, training should be linked with career paths of the trainees. Finally, the researcher recommended the need to promote extracurricular activities.
