Abstract

The study aimed to detect the effectiveness of a program based on collective art works to reduce the sense of social isolation and negative emotional sensitivity of deaf children, and to know the continuity of the effectiveness of a program based on collective art works to reduce the sense of social isolation and negative emotional sensitivity of deaf children after the follow-up period, The sample of the study consisted of (20) a deaf child from Al-Amal school for the deaf in Kafr El-Sheikh, and their age ranges between (9-11) year with an average age of (9,82) years, and a standard deviation (0,526), They were divided into two groups: Experimental group (10) deaf children, And a control group (10) deaf children, the researcher used the quasi-experimental methodology in this study, and the following tools were applied the sense of social isolation scale (prepared by/ the researcher), a negative emotional sensitivity scale (prepared by/ the researcher), a program based on collective art works (prepared by/ the researcher), And a case study form for children and people with special needs (prepared by / Amal Abdel Sami Baza, 2015), the study resulted in the effectiveness of a program based on collective art works to reduce the sense of social isolation and negative emotional sensitivity of deaf children, and it Confirmed the continuity of its effectiveness of the program after the follow-up period, It indicated the presence of some dynamic factors affecting the response of the sample members of the deaf children to the program based on collective art works used in the study, and based on these results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and future research.
