Abstract

A fully Functioning personality is of paramount importance to individuals; It indicates that the individual has reached positive self-realization, which represents a basic and essential motive in human life expressed through existential life, openness to experience, psychological adjustment, self-love, acceptance of others, and adoption of the position of internal evaluation, and the functionally integrated personality is looking for Permanence and its flexibility in finding diverse paths of survival, and this stems from the fact that it emanates from a deep desire for self-esteem in the context of different groups that give him different identities that may be consistent with each other or conflicting according to the context of the interactions experienced by the individual and the nature of the group or groups through which he interacts with members of his group. Members of other groups, which are expressed through four aspects of identities are personal identity, social identity, collective identity and relational identity. The importance of these two variables (full-functioning personality and multiple facets of identity) appears to groups or minorities that are exposed to political crises or existential threats, as in the event they are exposed to violence by terrorist groups (as happened to them in Iraq), and therefore the current research seeks to achieve the following goals : 1. knowing the fully employed personality of the minorities who have been subjected to the violence of terrorist groups in Iraq. 2. Knowing the significance of the differences in the fully employed personality of the minorities who have been subjected to the violence of terrorist groups in Iraq according to the variables of gender, minority (Yazidis, Christians, Shabaks). 3. Knowing the multiple facets of identity among minorities who have been subjected to violence by terrorist groups in Iraq. 4. Know the significance of the differences in the multiple facets of identity among minorities that have been subjected to violence by terrorist groups in Iraq according to the gender variables, the minority. C 5. Knowing the correlation between the fully employed personality and the multiple facets of identity among minorities who have been subjected to the violence of terrorist groups in Iraq. 6. Know the extent to which the multiple facets of identity contribute to the fully employed personality of minorities who have been subjected to violence by terrorist groups in Iraq. To achieve these goals, a fully-functioning personality scale was built based on Rogers Carl's theory, which in its final version consisted of (45) items, and the multi-faceted identity scale was adopted by Cheek et al, which was based on Tajfel & Turner's theory of social identity, which It consists in its final version of (35) items. The two scales were applied to a sample of (400) members of the Yezidis, Christians and Shabak minorities who were chosen randomly, with (234) males and (166) females. Variation, the research reached the following results: . The members of minorities have a fully-employed personality 1. 2. There are statistically significant differences in the full-employment personality variable according to the gender variable in favor of females, and according to the minority variable, the Shabak was more characterized by it than the Yezidis and Christians, while there were no differences between the Yezidis and Christians in the fully-employed personality . 3. The members of minorities are characterized by the four aspects of identity. 4. There are statistically significant differences in the multiple aspects of identity according to gender and minority variables, as follows: a. In personal identity, the differences according to gender were in favor of females, while at the minority level, the Yezidis were more characterized by it than Christians and Shabaks, while there are no differences between Christians and Shabaks in personal identity. b. In social identity, the differences according to gender were in favor of females, while there were no differences in that identity according to the minority variable. D c. In the collective identity, the differences according to gender were in favor of males, which at the minority level are more clear among the Yezidis and Christians than among the Shabak, while the differences in that identity did not reach the level of statistical significance between the Yezidis and Christians d. In relational identity, the differences according to gender were in favor of females, which at the minority level are more clear among the Yezidis and the Shabak than among the Christians, while the differences in that identity did not reach the level of statistical significance between the Yezidis and the Shabak. 5. There is a positive correlation between the fully employed personality on the one hand and each of the personal, social and relational identity aspects on the other hand, while the relationship was weak between the fully employed personality and the collective identity. 6. Personal identity contributes only among other aspects of identity to the prediction of a fully functional personality. After interpreting the results of the research according of the adopted theories and comparing them with the results of other research, the research concluded with some relevant recommendations and proposals.
