Abstract

The study aimed to identify the mastery level of graduate students in the faculty of Education at Al-Aqsa University in Palestine for the skills of scientific research in light of the gender and specialization variables. The study used the descriptive analytical methodology. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher used a test of scientific research skills as the tool of study which prepared by the researcher And after making sure of its validity and stability, it was applied electronically to a sample of (52) graduate students They were randomly selected from the study population of (198) male and female students. The results of the study showed a tangible weakness in the mastery level of the study sample for having the scientific research skills where the average level of mastery reached (19.9) with a percentage (49.75%) which is less than the default average specified by the study (30) with a percentage (75%). The study findings also did not demonstrate a statistically significant difference in the proficiency level of the study sample for scientific research skills due to the gender and specialization variables.
