Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of Cognitive Ability in maintaining competitive advantage of Palestinian industrial companies, and to achieve this goal, the researcher used and employed the analytical descriptive approach, in addition to using the comprehensive survey method, for the study community, which consists of (150) employees working in (6) Palestinian industrial companies, and the number of questionnaires recovered (130) questionnaires, with a recovery rate of (86.6%) and the researcher also used the statistical software package SPSS to interpret the results of the study. The study reached many results, including: 1. The presence of a high degree of approval by the respondents about cognitive ability in its dimensions, with a relative weight (76.9%) ، and it was also found that there is a high approval of the axis of competitive advantage, and a relative weight of.) %81.8 ( 2. There is a statistically significant relationship between cognitive ability and competitive advantage, at the significance level )0.05( 3. There is a statistically significant effect on the dimensions of cognitive ability on the competitive advantage of workers in Palestinian industrial establishments, at a level of significance )0.05 ( . 4. Depending on the age group variable, there are differences in the sample response averages on the cognitive ability of workers in Palestinian industrial facilities. Based on the findings, the study recommended that: 1. The need to enhance the level of knowledge ability of industrial companies for their effective and significant role in the sustainability of competitive advantage. 2. The importance of keeping up with the developments of information technology because of their effective role in the quality of the goods produced. 3. The need for the Ministry of National Economy to adopt the Law on the Protection of Producers, for its effective role in protecting the local product, enhancing the means of competition between companies, and achieving additional job opportunities. 4. The interest of industrial companies in marketing research, with the aim of achieving the wishes of customers through the goods produced
